Compliance with OMAA Constitutional Rules and Code of Ethics.
Did you know all Ordinary and Registered members of the OMAA are required to abide by the Constitutional rules and Code of Ethics? These documents identify the ethical principles, responsibilities and commitments of the Orientation and Mobility (O&M) profession in Australasia, and guide ethical decision-making and actions. You can read the Code of Ethics here and the Constitution here.
If you have failed to tick the box in your member profile consenting to abide by the OMAA Consitution and Code of Ethics, you cannot be a member of the OMAA.  This will affect your ability to claim funds in some areas such as the NDIA.
To ensure you have agreed to these requirements of OMAA membership, please:
1) log onto your profile
2) click your name in the top right corner of the page
3) select edit, scroll down and tick the appropriate box, and save the changes.
4) While you are checking if you have complied with this request, take the time to update your profile details (email, phone, etc).
We invite all members to attend to this as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please reach out to info@omaaustralasia.com
